I’m passionate about learning and thankfully, art is an ever-evolving lesson. I’m amazed at how many analogies for life become clear on a work-in-progress. Every work is my teacher, but it’s not really about mastery for me. My journey is rooted in exploration, emotion and a deep connection to the natural world. As a messenger through various mediums—whether it’s painting, sculpture, or digital work— I find molding an abstract idea into a tangible piece of art both challenging and exhilarating.

Another passion of mine is the natural world, and my veneration of it motivates me to create, daubing color and form to interpret the magic in the mundane and convey those super natural glimpses that gild our daily lives. Currently I’m representing the stewardship (and not necessarily dominion) that I believe humans have with our beautiful planet. I work in a variety of mediums, and particularly enjoy the multi-tasking qualities of acrylic paint.
